MA VIE
The Architecture of Skin Longevity™
Professional Development Initiative

Protocol
before product. MA VIE approaches skin longevity as a structured professional discipline — built on formulation science, biological rationale, methodology, observation and continuous refinement.

MA VIE is not presented as a finished clinical system. It is an invitation to dermatologists, aesthetic and longevity-focused physicians, medical professionals and selected expert partners to participate in the development of a structured, evidence-informed Skin Longevity Protocol.

We are looking for contributors, not distributors.
MA VIE enters this phase with an established formulation and scientific foundation. The objective is now to evaluate, challenge and refine how these elements work together as an integrated professional protocol.

A Different Perspective

Beyond anti-aging.

MA VIE distances itself clearly from the language of correction, reversal and superficial promise. We do not regard maturity as a defect to be opposed, but as a natural dimension of human development.

Our focus is not on selling the idea of youth. It is on supporting long-term skin quality through biological respect, structure, continuity and professional discipline.

We call this perspective Conscious Maturity™ — an approach that values integrity over intensity and resilience over correction.

“From short-term correction to long-term accompaniment.”

Development Foundation

Built on an existing foundation.

MA VIE did not begin with a marketing concept around isolated hero ingredients. The formulations were developed in Germany within an experienced cosmetic manufacturing environment, drawing on more than three decades of formulation expertise.

Selected active ingredients, concentration ranges and complementary mechanisms were considered in relation to one another with the intention of creating a coherent formulation architecture.

The scientific foundation behind selected actives includes in-vitro, ex-vivo and, for several actives, in-vivo evidence addressing biological processes relevant to skin quality and ageing.

Formulation

Developed in Germany with Dirnbergermühle Cosmetic Manufaktur GmbH within a professional cosmetic formulation and manufacturing environment.

Active Science

Selected actives are supported by mechanistic, preclinical and, in several cases, in-vivo study data from specialised ingredient research partners.

Safety & Documentation

Product development is supported by cosmetic safety documentation, including CPSR assessment through Oxford Biosciences Ltd.

Protocol Development

The next stage is professional evaluation of sequence, interaction, observation criteria and long-term use as one integrated system.

Scientific Rationale

From active science to skin architecture.

The scientific basis of MA VIE spans several areas of contemporary skin biology. The current evidence primarily relates to individual active ingredients and their mechanisms — not yet to the MA VIE Protocol™ as an integrated system.

This distinction is intentional. It defines the next phase of professional development: translating an existing formulation and scientific foundation into a documented, clinically meaningful protocol.

01 · Cellular Longevity

Cellular Senescence & Renewal

Selected actives have been investigated in relation to cellular senescence, apoptosis and extracellular matrix remodelling in human dermal fibroblast models.

Senescence · ECM remodelling · Skin ageing biology
02 · Structural Biology

Matrix, Elasticity & Structural Resilience

The formulation rationale includes actives investigated for collagen-related processes, elasticity, firmness, skin thickness, profilometry and extracellular matrix biology.

ECM · Collagen · Elasticity · Skin thickness
03 · Barrier & Environment

Barrier Function & Environmental Stress

Selected active research includes oxidative stress, pollution response, TEWL, microbiome and lipidome-related observations.

TEWL · Pollution · Oxidative stress · Microbiome
04 · Chronobiology

Circadian Skin Biology

Selected active research addresses circadian clock-gene expression in human keratinocytes, including CLOCK- and CRY-related pathways.

CLOCK · CRY1 · Circadian regulation · Day/Night biology
Scientific position: The referenced research supports the biological rationale of selected active ingredients. It should not be interpreted as clinical validation of the complete MA VIE formulation system or the MA VIE Protocol™. Establishing that integrated evidence is a central objective of the professional development phase.
The MA VIE Architecture

One system. Four connected dimensions.

MA VIE distinguishes between biological foundation, conceptual framework, methodology, repeatable protocol and the formulations used within that system. Quad Bio-Architecture™ provides the framework through which these elements are organised.

01

Cellular Integrity

Supporting the biological environment associated with cellular resilience, renewal and long-term functional skin quality.

Informed by areas including cellular senescence, oxidative stress and extracellular matrix remodelling.
02

Structural Density

Focusing on extracellular matrix quality, hydration, elasticity and the structural coherence of skin as living tissue.

Relevant areas include collagen-related processes, elasticity, barrier quality, skin thickness and structural resilience.
03

Neurocutaneous Balance

Exploring the relationship between the nervous system, sensory experience, stress-related skin responses, sensitivity and daily skin behaviour.

This remains an active development area and requires further professional and scientific validation.
04

Conscious Maturity™

Reframing maturity as a valued dimension of life and skin care — supported through intelligent care rather than opposition to ageing.

The human and philosophical dimension of the MA VIE framework.
From Framework to Method

A disciplined architecture of care.

The MA VIE Method™ translates the conceptual framework into a structured logic for long-term skin care. It is not defined by more products, but by clearer roles.

Timing, sequence, continuity, biological context and restraint are integral to the method. Skin longevity is approached as a longitudinal practice rather than as a momentary intervention.

Every formulation is therefore treated as an instrument within the system. The system defines its role — not the other way around.

Biological Sequencing

Different moments. Different priorities.

Human skin does not operate identically throughout the day. Barrier behaviour, environmental exposure, cellular activity and regenerative processes vary across the circadian cycle.

MA VIE therefore distinguishes between a morning architecture focused on preparation, support and environmental resilience, and an evening architecture focused on cleansing, recovery and restoration.

MA VIE Protocol™

Precision replaces excess.

The protocol translates the method into daily practice. Each step has a defined role within the sequence. Morning and evening are treated differently because their functional priorities are different.

Morning Architecture

Prepare · Activate · Stabilise · Protect
PurifyGentle preparation and cleansing of the skin surface.
ActivateTargeted formulation support within the defined morning sequence.
StabiliseSupport for hydration, barrier quality and skin comfort.
ProtectPreparation for daily environmental exposure and external stressors.

Evening Architecture

Purify · Activate · Restore · Eye Precision
PurifyRemoval of daily residue and preparation for the evening phase.
ActivateTargeted application aligned with evening and circadian care priorities.
RestoreSupport for hydration, structural balance and overnight skin comfort.
Eye PrecisionDedicated attention to the specific requirements of the periocular area.

Evidence Position

A clear distinction matters.

MA VIE separates the evidence already available for selected ingredients and formulation rationale from the evidence that still needs to be established for the finished products, their combination and the protocol as a whole.

Established Foundation

Active ingredient evidenceMechanistic, in-vitro, ex-vivo and selected in-vivo data are available for several key actives.
Formulation rationaleThe products were developed as complementary formulations rather than unrelated standalone products.
Manufacturing & safety frameworkDevelopment, manufacturing and cosmetic safety documentation are already established.

Next Development Stage

Finished-product evidenceFurther evaluation of the complete MA VIE formulations.
Combination evidenceInvestigation of how formulations interact within the defined sequence.
Protocol evidenceProfessional documentation of the MA VIE Method™ and Protocol™ as an integrated longitudinal system.
Neurocutaneous dimensionDevelopment of meaningful observation and research parameters for stress, sensory response and adherence-related factors.
Professional Development

From scientific foundation to documented practice.

MA VIE is entering a collaborative professional development phase. The objective is not product promotion and not the endorsement of a finished system.

The objective is to translate an existing formulation and scientific foundation into a documented, professionally refined Skin Longevity Protocol™.
